Assist International is a humanitarian organization dedicated to relieving human suffering around the world by networking the resources in the world with the great human need that exists. We provide assistance and relief supplies such as food and medical equipment to the poor and needy in developing nations. We are also active in building family homes for orphaned and abandoned children, as well as establishing business enterprises to sustain the children's projects.
We network resources from the business world, service clubs, hospitals, corporations and individuals to respond to human needs throughout the world.
Our Medical Projects: Assist International builds the capacity of hospitals in developing countries to more effectively serve the people in their area. We provide medical equipment and training for physicians and nursing staff, which significantly increases the amount and quality of care that a hospital is able to give.
Our Children's Projects: Assist International works to build the capacity of local governments, community members, and/or NGOs to meet the primary and developmental needs of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs) within their community. Our programs include building foster family homes for OVCs. In addition to providing a place to live for OVCs, we work to provide micro-enterprise and educational opportunities to support children around the world.
Our Food Projects: Assist International sends containers of food to various organizations that distribute food to needy people.
